Monday, March 19th is the beginning of our last nine weeks. Every student begins the quarter with a clean slate. Not turning assignments in is our biggest reason for poor grades.

Social Studies and Science:
Wednesday is our schoolwide spirit day. Each grade level is to show their spirit by dressing in a special color. The sixth grade color is green. If the sixth graders win the color competition, we will celebrate by having an outside recess during 9th period for one WHOLE WEEK!

Science Update: Pulley Test Wednesday.   All simple Machines Test is FRIDAY!  I hope all students have lots of good information on their calendars about simple machines. Those could be real handy! Start studying today!  Calendar and Journal #24 this week.

Social Studies Update:  CHAPTER 13 TEST TUESDAY!
Students will begin working in Chapter 14. It is not too early to start your new vocabulary notebook!

Please remember this is our last quarter. Try your best to turn in all assignments on time. Make sure you turn in work you are proud of!

Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for all of your help in having a successful week.
