Greetings after a long weekend!
Math News:  All students need their own calculator. We use them everyday!
(Pencils and paper are good too :)

Monday's Homework - Read page 218, do page 219. Students need to read carefully and use their 100's chart. Clue for #28: The only number that you will use that is not on the chart is 673. Students need to show their work on the factor trees.

Tuesday Read page 220, do page 221. We will have our divisibility quiz tomorrow. All students need to be able to write the rules for numbers that are divisible by; 2,3,5,6,9,10.

QUIZ

Thursday Read page 224, do even # 225

Science:  Students will begin a unit on levers. They need to fill out their
calendar daily.

Reading: Students will begin a unit on oceans. Folders will be due this Friday.

Language - Verbs Test is Friday. There is no spelling this week.

Social Studies. Students will begin a new vocabulary notebook. Please keep it up to date and neat!

Report Cards come home tonight. I see a direct connection between students who study and good grades. Ask your child what they can do to improve their
scores.  If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please contact us and
we will help!

Reminder: Camp money is due soon. We are in need of adult male volunteers. Are there any Dads who want to go camping?

Have a wonderful week.

Mrs. Parks
